Visit St. Petersburg – a city of palaces, churches and beautiful parks and innumerable bridges over the river. Discover one of the world’s greatest open-air museum: the Winter Palace, a pearl of the Russian baroque architec­ture, the Palace Square, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress and the summer residences of the Russian Czars. One huge palace after another, imposing architectural ensembles and austere granite em­bankments bear testimony to a magnificent kingly past of the city.

Optional excursion available by private car and guide for example to Peter & Paul Fortress, Pushkin & Catherine's Palace and Pavlovs & Paul's Palace. Optional evening programme also available as opera, ballet, folklore and circus.

The best way to get one is to go to local authorities in advance in the country of residence (the nearest Russian embassy or consulate) to apply for the visa. The normal time for obtaining a visa in Helsinki is at present minimum six (6) whole working days.
