Suomenlinna Museum & Suomenlinna Experience
The museum tells about the history of Suomenlinna naval fortress from the 18th c. to the present day. The exhibition illustrates the building of the fortress and former life on the naval base. Also special exhibitions. The widescreen show Suomenlinna Experience (ca 25 minutes) tells about Suomenlinna and its history; commentary in Finnish, Swedish, English, German, French, Russian and Japanese.
Closed 1.1., 6.4., 1.5., 6.12. & 24.–25.12.
Open (May–Sept): daily 10-18.
Special exhibition: Bubbling Under, the Underwater Cultural Heritage at Suomenlinna.
